Color B –Red
2. Crochet Hook –H/8-5.00 mm
3. Yarn Needle (blunt sewing needle with big eye)
4. Stitch Marker

Stitch Abbreviations:
sc – single crochet
sl st – slip stitch
rev sc - reverse single crochet
Finished Size:
Fits baby 0-3 months
Head circumference - 12-14"
Stitch Explanation:
Rev Sc - Reverse Single Crochet: Insert the hook from front to back in the next stitch to the right. Be sure to have the right side of your work facing you.
Yarn over and draw the yarn through the stitch. Yarn over and draw the yarn through the 2 loops on the hook.
*This stitch is similar to a regular single crochet — except it is worked backwards*
Baby Beanie:
Rnd 1: With color A start with a magic ring, 6 sc into ring, join by using a sl st into first sc (6 sc).
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (12 sc).
Rnd 3: (Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) repeat 6 times (18 sc).
Rnd 4: (Sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) repeat 6 times (24 sc).
Rnd 5: (Sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) repeat 6 times (30 sc).
Rnd 6: (Sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc) repeat 6 times (36 sc).
Rnd 7: (Sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc) repeat 6 times (42 sc).
Rnd 8: (Sc in next 6 sc, 2 sc in next sc) repeat 6 times (48 sc).
Rnds 9-23: Sc in each sc around.
Sl st into next sc and fasten off leaving a 6-8 inch tail for weaving.
Beanie Trim:
Rnd 24: With color B, rev sc in each sc around (48 rev sc).
Sl st into last sc and fasten off leaving a 6-8 inch tail for weaving.
Weave in loose ends with yarn needle.
